Alan has worked tirelessly to develop relationships between the vendor community and Walmart since arriving in Bentonville, Arkansas some twenty years ago. As you would expect, over that time he has worked closely with both Walmart and Sam’s Club, managing retail merchandising team activities for third parties operating in their brick and mortar footprint, nationwide. He has consulted with, and worked directly for, several startups ranging from Internet merchandisers to creators of Retail Execution platforms and Management Consulting Services to CPG companies.

Alan is a volunteer coach for First Tee of Northwest Arkansas, an organization which teaches local youth important life skills through the game of golf: namely, the value of integrity, respect and to never give up. In the spirit of never giving up, Alan himself has been on a life-long journey to learn guitar; underscoring that while one should follow their dreams, they might also consider paying for lessons.
